Brilliant educational link which is just right for Primary School Children.
The website (www.virtualfarmwalk.org), has been developed by the farming charity LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming). It is a fun way to find out about agriculture and the environment, where you can see and hear about how our food is grown with care for wildlife. The Virtual Farm Walk covers crop and livestock farming, you can visit different parts of a farm (not our farm at this stage), meet the animals, look at the machinery, and two farmers are on hand to explain what is going on. There are lots of things to do and activity sheets that can be downloaded.
