When we sat down and said “How do we create a Covid Safe Christmas?” There was only one answer – Make it bigger – Plan it and make the EHO and Insurers happy. Then Shout About It To You All! You were amazing, your children delightful and we humbly thank you for supporting us. A huge apology for those of you we couldn’t see as our tickets SOLD OUT like hot Christmas puddings!

Due to the November Lockdown & Social Distancing regulations, this stifled us from being able to put on as many days as we would have liked, so we invented the “Twilight Sessions!”

A huge thank you to all our team members who worked double shifts so we could ensure as many children as possible could enjoy the magic of seeing Farmer Christmas in 2020.

“Of course we were nervous this year, and thought we’d have to give seeing Father Christmas a miss. We were still worried about booking in case it was busy.

But absolutely shouldn’t have worried. The staff were amazing, welcoming and friendly. We were soon sorted with our slots in the play barn and soft play, the first time the children have been in either since February so there was much excitement!”

 The transformation in the animal barn was outstanding. We felt like we had it to ourselves! Each section was magical, funny and the attention to detail was fully appreciated. Listening for the bell, which we know was to keep us safe, was actually fun and made us appreciate each little section. Father Christmas was great as ever, fabulous grotto. And the elf shop and chimney were the icing on the cake. We all loved it.

So just a huge thank you, its definitely the best father Christmas experience we’ve ever done and in 2020 that’s a massive achievement 🙂

“I’ve been meaning to email all week to say the biggest thank you to everyone at FP for working through this strange time and enabling Christmas to still go ahead. I brought my little boy along on Monday to see Father Christmas and we were blown away by the magic and efforts that you and your team had put into it. It was simply incredible! You guys have always been fantastic and the farm is by far our favourite day out. You go above and beyond with everything and your Christmas experience was astounding, we loved every bit of it, although I thought my little boy might have cried when he saw the Big Man but we managed to avoid the tears! “Hiya, I just wanted to say a huge thank you and an even bigger well done to you all, we have just spent the day at the farm, annual pass holders and I am so impressed by the amount of effort gone into keeping everything safe and still so much fun for the kids. I can honestly say it is always such a pleasure, every single member of staff from the front desk, through the farm and the cafe are all so friendly, kind and really do go above and beyond. Seeing the kids at the soft play today and having a sense of normality finally was amazing and the Father Christmas trail was incredible! We’ve just got back from our last visit of 2020 and we LOVED the Christmas experience! Mother Xmas and Odd-socks deserve a special mention – they were hilarious! Our grumpy 2 year old’s face lit up when it started snowing, it was just magical. Happy Christmas to you all and I hope you have a really well deserved rest.

I also wanted to say how grateful we are to have you on our doorstep. This year has been frankly horrible and we didn’t realise how lucky we were until lockdown – we all missed you so so much. Thank you for all of your efforts and ingenuity to keep things going and us entertained. You are all amazing.
