You may be wondering what the changes from 19th July at Farmer Palmer’s look like? This news article is for you.
As the Government is easing restrictions across the country, the safety of our team and visitors remains a top priority at Farmer Palmer’s.
We recognise some people wish to drop all restrictions and have ‘freedom’. At the farm we’re doing it the ‘Farmer Palmer’ way and keeping the things you like best.
Therefore, we are keeping certain good pandemic safety practices in place for your comfort and confidence.
The changes from 19th July at Farmer Palmer’s are being implemented in the following ways:
No more rule of 6:
Farmer Palmer’s is not lifting limits on capacity yet:
We are still keeping daily admissions capped for now. We have listened to our visitors and appreciate the farm park is a much more pleasant experience with limited capacity. All bookings must still be made online prior to visiting. Visit Farmer Palmer’s online booking page.
Reducing queuing time:
We’re bringing back timetables at the front desk with a slightly different format. These will include lots of fun info as well as our infographic of our safety rules. Hospitality is also encouraged by Gov to ask you to scan the NHS Test and Trace App. Our Welcome Ambassadors will meet and greet visitors. Please have your BOOKING BARCODES READY to scan in to save time at the front desk. We are still using our 2020 brochures for your map.
Face coverings still protect, so out of respect for our vulnerable visitors, and our team who ensure we are open to care for you, please wear them in busy areas i.e. guinea pig handling, Little Farmer’s Fun Barn and Indoor Play Zone.
Our team members do take personal responsibility and wear everywhere there is close contact with others. The perspex screens will remain in place.
The Little Farmer’s Barn, Indoor Soft Play, Bouncy Castle, and Go-Karts will still be monitored by a staff member to manage capacity. The indoor play areas will still be well ventilated and cleaned / fogged regularly.
Excellent hygiene practices:
Reminders for regular hand washing and additional hand sanitising stations will remain in place. You must wash your hands thoroughly following ANY animal contact.
Lifting limits on social contact:
We believe visitors feel more comfortable with social distancing in place therefore, for now, we are leaving distancing signage will remain in place.
One way system:
This will remain in place in the Hen House Restaurant to minimise congestion. Tables will remain well-spaced and additional seating will be available in party rooms. We have re-opened the cutlery and condiment section.
Tractor rides and deer feeding:
