Welcome to your February 2022 update from Farmer Palmer’s
WOW! Thank you for all your visits during Feb Half Term so far. Annual pass holders are definitely making the most of those memberships and we treasure all your support.
After a VERY windy start to the week, it’s been so heart warming to hear your little ones giggling and laughing as they explore and enjoy the farm park.
We have some EGGCITING events coming up this Spring, please read on for full details and important updates
BBQ’s are coming back this Summer!
You may have noticed a new wooden structure has popped up on the front lawn next to the Hen House . . . this is going to be our brand new BBQ shack ready for this summer!
This year we will be adding vegan options to our BBQ offering too! We like to give you lots of choice. More information on BBQ dates coming soon
Q: “Do you do after hours private hire of the park for Parties”
A: Yes, we’ll always try to accommodate where possible, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your enquiry and we’ll see what we can do for you.
Q: “Yesterday we had a lovely time at FP. We bought the Dinosaur Discovery trail [activity pack] which my 6 year old filled in. One problem with completing it was needing something to rest on to write in the booklet but everything (dinosaurs, benches, fences etc) was damp. I had nothing suitable in my backpack. How about having some small (A5?) clip boards available to borrow. A deposit would ensure the return or cover the cost if they weren’t returned.”
A: We loved this idea! Thank you to the parent who gave us this feedback, clipboards are now available to borrow from the gift shop (for a £2 deposit) when you purchase your World of Dinosaur Roar Activity Packs. Have fun out there!
We’re delighted to announce we have some wonderful new recruits!
A very warm welcome to;
- Katy – Animal Barn Team Leader
- Joel – Animal Barn
- Scarlett – Table Steward
- Oakley – Table Steward
- Luca – Table Steward
- Sophie – Party Host
- Charlize – Party Host
- Hetty – Park Monitor
- Archie – Park Monitor
You may recognise our new recruit Katy in the Animal Barn . . . She last worked here in 2010 and following the pandemic she was keen to get back to working outside and with animals. When the opportunity to join FP’s came up she was keen to get started. Katy is looking forward to working with the animals and with the team to get back to the demonstration side of things with customers as this is something she loved when working here before.

Why is our brochure out of date?
We are reviewing our sustainability commitments in 2022. You may have noticed our current colour brochure is out of date.
We printed 700,000 in 2019 all ready for 2 years worth of distribution – not knowing corona virus would turn our worlds upside down.
As we don’t want to waste paper or the print we’ve paid for, we are still using these brochures as the map is valid and we’ve noticed how your children love the colours, graphics and photos.
We are supporting the distribution company as a local family business.
