Here is your Summer 2021 update from Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park!
Yippee, Summer is here and we have lots to entertain you.
Don’t worry, we still have capacity limits on our daily visitor numbers so the park doesn’t feel overcrowded.
The 19th of July gave us all a new challenge and our team has stepped up brilliantly to keep the bits we love the best and we are communicating to the best of our ability.
HUGE thank you to local company Anglebury Press for designing and printing our updated daily “Moosletters”. We think they look great and hope you enjoy reading and interacting with them. Pick one up on your next visit!
We are trying to encourage face coverings, some distancing in indoor areas, plus the continued use of hand sanitiser and regular, thorough, hand washing.
The team are continuing to receive incredible feedback on their friendliness and hard work, we couldn’t be prouder! Here’s to a super summer of family fun on the Farm Park! Thank you for your continued support, here’s to a farm-tastic summer of family fun on the farm!
NEW Events – Camping, BBQ’s and Pumpkin Picks!
Pitch Up and Camp at Farmer Palmer’s this Summer:
For the first time in Farm Park history, Farmer Palmer’s will be open as a ‘Pop Up’ campsite for 3 consecutive weekends in August:
Why? Because we keep getting asked and motor homes find it hard to find a quick overnight spot.
All bookings are to be made via Pitch Up with additional options to book tickets to the farm park and a breakfast delivery direct to your tent/campervan!
Grass Field Camping: Toilets and Water Facilities Only
Pitches are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. Full details can be found on the official Pitch Up website.

Maize Maze Update:
We are doing sun dances to help our ‘Maize Maze’ grow tall. The cold snap earlier this year has delayed the growing season, we are hoping to open this area in August.
You were all incredible last year, sharing in the fun of our bigger, braver Farmer Christmas Experience. The storyboard for this year’s show is taking shape!
Into the mixing bowl; a little splash of sauce from our Panto Dame, illumination and twinkle from glittering lights, Twilight sessions are back with more tasty treats and, of course, the actors and Farmer Christmas himself.
If there is anything you think we missed last year, contact us.
Discovery Trail Update:
A BIG warm welcome to our NEW Roar Rangers; Jurassic Gemma, Jurassic Archie, Jurassic Jessie, Jurassic Jack, and Jurassic Nick!
They will meet you on the walk and try to answer any questions as your little ones bring our brightly coloured arrivals ‘to life’! Please do not allow children to climb on the dinosaur models, they are actually quite delicate for such BIG characters!
Selfie-Saurus: He may move around the park but he’s perfect for those Insta-worthy selfies! Look out for our T-Rex Selfie Head!
We all know children love to run ahead. But please ensure you keep to the paths on the Discovery Trail. Please don’t let children run out of the woods at the end of the trail. The track you cross is the tractor-trailer track and your children may not know what time it runs.
Breastfeeding at Farmer Palmer’s
You are welcome to breastfeed anywhere at the farm park.
If you’d like a comfortable seat there are two chairs set aside for breastfeeding parents in the area underneath the soft play zone. Please ask a team member if you’re unsure where they are.
