Meet Dinosaur Squeak!

Dates: 23rd and 30th July, 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th August 2024.
Time: The event will take place at 11 am and 2 pm.

Whether you have an interest in dinosaurs or are seeking a fantastic day out, Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park has you covered. You can get up close to our furry friends, and we offer your little ones the chance to meet a friendly prehistoric friend, DINOSAUR SQUEAK!

He will roam around the farm park with one of our dino rangers at 11 am and 2 pm to ensure he behaves and answer any questions you may have!

In the meantime, you can step into the world of dinosaurs as you walk down The World of Dinosaur Roar Discovery Trail. This incredible adventure takes you through a Jurassic jungle, where you will encounter life-sized dinosaur models hidden in the undergrowth. Feel the excitement as you come face to face with the towering T-Rex, the majestic Triceratops, and the dignified Diplodocus. The trail aims to ignite your imagination and transport you back in time to when these magnificent creatures roamed the Earth.

Immerse yourself in the thrilling world of dinosaurs, explore the lush woodlands, and participate in educational activities that will captivate and entertain you. So, put on your explorer hat and prepare for an unforgettable adventure at Dorset’s best Dinosaur Park. Remember, even the fiercest of dinosaurs started as little hatchlings like you—so embrace your inner explorer and let the fun begin!

This event is free; all you need to do is purchase your admission tickets!

Car Boot Sales

Dates: Every Tuesday morning from 30th April – 29th Oct 2024

Car Boot Sales run each Tuesday. Farmer Palmer’s Car Boot Sales started on the 30th April and they will run every Tuesday until 29th October 2024 (We will be there come rain or shine, but we advise you check the forecast before arriving).

Times and Prices Information

Sellers – Please arrive early, GATES OPEN by 7.00am*, the charge is £7 per vehicle (subject to change) for your 6m x 10m pitch. Double pitches available for larger vehicles. If you want to pay for two pitches together you will need to arrive in convoy.

Buyers – The buyers gate opens at 7.30 am*. This is different from the seller’s traffic gate. This is no charge for entry, free parking, refreshments, and toilets are available.

*Gate opening times may be flexible due to the time of year/weather conditions i.e. in Summer we may open sellers gate earlier
*If there have been long periods of rain which cause the ground to be ruined, we may have to postpone for a week. In this circumstance, we do advise calling us on 01202 622022 between 10 am – 3.00 pm the day before the event. 

Wet Wednesdays

Dates: 24th & 31st July, 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th Aug 2024 

Wet The Western Tractor Rides from 10.30am – 12.00pm

We are looking for cowboys and cowgirls to join us this half term for the ultimate WILD WEST SOAK OFF! Children will be encouraged to draw their water pistols (which we will provide) and completely soak the staff. The wetter the better!

So, jump on the trailer ride and get ready for the greatest soak off in the west! YEEEEHAAAAA!

If you’ve visited during Easter with our Bandit Bunny ride, or during Halloween for Soak-A-Spook, you’re children are going to LOVE the Wild West Soak Off!

  • Tractor rides are an additional charge of £2.50 per person (payable by card or cash on the day) 

Summer BBQs

Your taste buds will be tingling after our sizzling summer BBQ’s! We will be serving baps, burgers, and buns from our Chicken Coop (or Hen Hen Restaurant – weather dependent) from 12 pm, every Friday for 6 weeks.

The best thing about our BBQs is that YOU DON’T HAVE TO COOK AT HOME! So, save your time cooking and washing up, and spend more quality time with the family.

Pre-purchase when booking tickets (bolt-on option upon checkout)

Foam Party from 3pm

Meet us on the picnic table lawn near the pig racing track for our famous foam party. Children will be able to slip, slide, and dance the afternoon away (aka completely exhaust themselves before heading home for the day). There will be music, foam, and lots of crazy dance moves for you and your little ones to get involved with.

  • We highly advise you bring towels with you to help dry off before heading home for the day 
  • This is scheduled towards the end of the day so your little one’s won’t spend the day completely soaked! 


  • Please refer to the timetable when handed to you upon arrival 
  • Please note, we may cancel the event due to bad weather (wind and rain) for H&S reasons.

Dog Show (offsite)

Dates: Sunday 14th July 2024

Run by the Dorset Canine Society. This is a Pedigree Dog Show – Qualifying for Dorset’s Top Dog.

Public Entry 

  • This event is free for the general public to attend and watch the show.
  • The show starts from 9.00 am
  • Dogs (not part of the show) are welcome but must stay on leads
  • Toilets available (including disabled)

Disney Through the Decades

Dates: Thursday 25th July, 8th & 22nd Aug 2024

Come and meet the Disney duo, and sing along with these princesses with their very first Disney Through the Decades – a tailored princess performance just for you at Farmer Palmer’s!

Gemma and Heather are a highly versatile and dynamic female duo that cover songs from the 20’s to the present day with a truly unique sound, including remarkable two-part vocal harmonies to create the perfect atmosphere for this event.

This event is included in your ticket price. Just purchase your tickets for the day and we will include the shows into your daily timetable (which you will receive upon arrival).

Preacher the Storyteller

Dates: Thursday 1st, 15th, and 29th Aug 2024

Not everyone likes telling stories and not everyone knows how to tell a story. Preacher however, LOVES telling stories and he’s very good at it!

He believes that a story can’t just be heard or read it has to be lived. You need to be able to not only relate but feel how the character feels. Happiness, joy, fear, even pain. Preachers goal is to make sure he brings a story to life so that the experience is not one easily forgotten.

So, he’s become part of our family, and will share stories which will not only entertain your little ones, but you and your parents too!

This is a free event! You just need to purchase your admission tickets. 

Camping Under the Stars

Dates: Fri 9th – Sun 11th & Fri 23rd – Sun 26th Aug 

Pitch Up and Camp at Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park is growing in popularity. Star gazing (no light pollution), playing ball, being greeted by some of our animals, feeding deer, and clean toilets who could ask for more? Perhaps, space to fly kites, flat pitches and breakfast served to your door! You got it! Based upon the wonderful reviews, we have decided to do it all over again for 2024! You’ll probably have sheep and deer as your neighbours!
