Whether you have an interest in dinosaurs or are seeking a fantastic day out, Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park has you covered. You can get up close to our furry friends, and we offer your little ones the chance to meet a friendly prehistoric friend, DINOSAUR SQUEAK!

He will roam around the farm park with one of our dino rangers at 11 am and 2 pm to ensure he behaves and answer any questions you may have!

In the meantime, you can step into the world of dinosaurs as you walk down The World of Dinosaur Roar Discovery Trail. This incredible adventure takes you through a Jurassic jungle, where you will encounter life-sized dinosaur models hidden in the undergrowth. Feel the excitement as you come face to face with the towering T-Rex, the majestic Triceratops, and the dignified Diplodocus. The trail aims to ignite your imagination and transport you back in time to when these magnificent creatures roamed the Earth.

Immerse yourself in the thrilling world of dinosaurs, explore the lush woodlands, and participate in educational activities that will captivate and entertain you. So, put on your explorer hat and prepare for an unforgettable adventure at Dorset’s best Dinosaur Park. Remember, even the fiercest of dinosaurs started as little hatchlings like you—so embrace your inner explorer and let the fun begin!

This event is free; all you need to do is purchase your admission tickets!

Times and Prices Information

Sellers – Please arrive early, GATES OPEN by 7.00am*, the charge is £7 per vehicle (subject to change) for your 6m x 10m pitch. Double pitches available for larger vehicles. If you want to pay for two pitches together you will need to arrive in convoy.

Buyers – The buyers gate opens at 7.30 am*. This is different from the seller’s traffic gate. This is no charge for entry, free parking, refreshments, and toilets are available.

*Gate opening times may be flexible due to the time of year/weather conditions i.e. in Summer we may open sellers gate earlier
*If there have been long periods of rain which cause the ground to be ruined, we may have to postpone for a week. In this circumstance, we do advise calling us on 01202 622022 between 10 am – 3.00 pm the day before the event. 

Wet The Western Tractor Rides from 10.30am – 12.00pm

We are looking for cowboys and cowgirls to join us this half term for the ultimate WILD WEST SOAK OFF! Children will be encouraged to draw their water pistols (which we will provide) and completely soak the staff. The wetter the better!

So, jump on the trailer ride and get ready for the greatest soak off in the west! YEEEEHAAAAA!

If you’ve visited during Easter with our Bandit Bunny ride, or during Halloween for Soak-A-Spook, you’re children are going to LOVE the Wild West Soak Off!

• Tractor rides are an additional charge of £2.50 per person (payable by card or cash on the day) 

Foam Party from 3pm

Meet us on the picnic table lawn near the pig racing track for our famous foam party. Children will be able to slip, slide, and dance the afternoon away (aka completely exhaust themselves before heading home for the day). There will be music, foam, and lots of crazy dance moves for you and your little ones to get involved with.

• We highly advise you bring towels with you to help dry off before heading home for the day 
• This is scheduled towards the end of the day so your little one’s won’t spend the day completely soaked!

Run by the Dorset Canine Society. This is a Pedigree Dog Show – Qualifying for Dorset’s Top Dog.

Public Entry 

• This event is free for the general public to attend and watch the show.
• The show starts from 9.00 am
• Dogs (not part of the show) are welcome but must stay on leads
• Toilets available (including disabled)
