For the very first time, Happy’s Circus will be bringing its spectacular Big Top to Dorset for one magical August Bank Holiday weekend.

With only four performances across the entire weekend, this is expected to be one of Dorset’s most exciting family events of the summer.

What is Happy’s Circus?
Happy’s Circus is one of the UK’s best-loved touring family circuses.
The show combines traditional Big Top magic with modern family entertainment to create a fun and memorable experience for all ages.
Families can expect:
- Stunning aerial acts • Incredible acrobatics • Family-friendly comedy • Audience participation • Music and theatrical lighting • Big Top magic and wonder
Please note: there are no animals involved in the circus performances.
Where Will The Circus Be Located?
The Big Top will be located in Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park’s Car Boot Field.
Directional signage and team members will help guide visitors on the day.
What Ticket Options Are Available?
We have created three simple ways for families to enjoy the circus.
Circus Only Tickets
Perfect for:
- Annual Pass Holders • Local families • Visitors attending only the circus performance
Circus Only tickets include admission to your selected Happy’s Circus performance beneath the Big Top.
Farm Park admission is not included.
Morning Farm Park & Circus Tickets
Perfect for families wanting a shorter farm visit before the show.
Your family can:
- Enter Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park from 9:30am • Enjoy the farm until 11:30am • Then make your way to the Big Top for the 12 Midday circus performance
Afternoon Farm Park & Circus Tickets
Perfect for families wanting a full afternoon out.
Your family can:
- Enter Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park from 1pm • Enjoy the farm park and restaurant • Then finish your day with the 5pm circus performance
This is expected to be one of our most popular ticket options.
What Should Annual Pass Holders Do?
If you already have a Farmer Palmer’s Annual Pass:
- Pre-book your Farm Park visit as normal.
- Purchase separate Circus Only tickets for the performance you wish to attend.
This keeps the booking process simple and flexible.

Do Babies Need A Ticket?
Babies under 12 months may attend free of charge when seated on a parent or guardian’s lap.
Children aged 12–23 months require a Child Under 2 ticket.
Children aged 2–15 require a standard Child ticket.
Is Seating Allocated?
No.
Seating is unallocated and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
We recommend arriving in good time before your performance begins.
What Happens If It Rains?
The Happy’s Circus Big Top is fully covered.
Performances will normally continue in wet weather and typical British summer conditions.
Please come prepared for the weather when walking between the Farm Park and the Big Top.
What Happens If A Performance Is Cancelled?
In the unlikely event that a performance cannot proceed due to severe weather, safety concerns or circumstances beyond our control, Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park will endeavour to offer:
- A transfer to an alternative performance (subject to availability), or • A Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park gift voucher equal to the value of the cancelled circus admission element of the ticket.

What Areas Of Farmer Palmer’s Will Be Open?
Depending on your ticket type, families may enjoy:
- Indoor soft play • Outdoor play areas • Big Barn and animal activities • Pedal tractors • Sand and water play • Dinosaur Roar and Woodland Walk • Hen House Restaurant • Gift Shop • Toilet facilities
Some outdoor areas may close depending on weather conditions.
Is There Free Parking?
Yes. Free on-site parking is available at Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park.
In the main car parks for morning and afternoon visitors and in the Car Boot Sale field for all circus visitors.
Please follow event signage and directions from team members on arrival.
Is The Event Accessible?
We aim to make Happy’s Circus at Farmer Palmer’s accessible for as many families as possible.
Discounted Disabled and Carer tickets are available.
The grass field is level.
