Are you searching for the perfect way to spend your May Half Term with your kids? Somewhere where your little ones can run wild in the countryside, enhance their motor skills with indoor and outdoor play, whilst you enjoy a hot drink, or a homemade meal in our Hen House restaurant?

We have the perfect way to spend your May Half Term. We will be open from 9.30 am – 5 pm every day throughout the holidays (Dorset) with different animal activities running every hour, indoor and outdoor play for your little ones to explore, run, jump, climb, and play, as well as our amazing events!

Daily Animal Activities

Pig Racing, Goat Feeding, Pampered Ponies, Cow Milking Demo, Hold a Guinea Pig in Creature Comforts, Feed the animals in Veggie Time.

Our friendly reception team will show you a daily timetable of our animal events when you arrive to the park. Please refer to this throughout your visit and arrive at the demonstration areas at least 5 minutes before the event is due to start, our Animal Barn team run to a tight schedule.

Enjoy seeing and learning about our animals, our team will be happy to answer your questions and always remember to wash you hands. Have fun everyone!

May Half Term Events

We have got some amazing activities running throughout the May Half Term holidays for both parents and children to get involved with. You will find that we have our Wet the Western Tractor Trailer Ride, Foam Party, and Sheep Shearing activities and talks throughout the week. Read below to find out which event is on what day!

Wet The Western Tractor Trailer Ride

Monday to Friday of May Half Term!

We are looking for cowboys and cowgirls to join us this half term for the ultimate WILD WEST SOAK OFF! Children will be encouraged to draw their water pistols (which we will provide) and completely soak the staff. The wetter the better. So, jump on the trailer ride and get ready for the greatest soak off in the west! YEEEEHAAAAA!

If you’ve visited during Easter with our Bandit Bunny, or during Halloween for Soak-A-Spook, you’re children are going to LOVE the Wild West Soak Off!

Tractor rides are an additional charge of £2.50 per person (payable by card or cash on the day)

Foam Party

Foam Party Fun on Wednesday and Friday – May Half Term

Meet us on the picnic table lawn near the pig racing track for the return of our famous Foam Party. Children will be able to slip, slide, and dance the afternoon away (aka completely exhaust themselves before heading home for the day). There will be music, foam, and lots of crazy dance moves for you and your little ones to get involved with.

We highly advise you to bring towels with you to help dry off before heading home for the day
This is scheduled towards the end of the day, so your little ones won’t spend the day completely soaked!

May Half Term is one of the most popular times to visit Farmer Palmer’s; the sun is out, the animals are lively, and the farm is bursting with hands-on fun for little explorers.
