Splash Zone Transformation
For 26 years, our award-winning, family-run farm park, Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park has and continues to provide a farm-tastic mixture of fresh air, play, adventure, and education for children 8 years and under. Parents tell us we are a godsend when needing a 2nd home to let their children grow up and children say, “It’s the best place EVER!”.
So, when we had an opportunity to invest in our park, we chose to work with natural children’s playground supplier, Touchwood Play, to renew our much-loved Splash Zone (water play area).
What do you need to support the water play? Water of course! Hey, we said, let’s see if our farmland can support our very own waterhole. As if by magic, Dragon Drilling has enabled us to supply our own water. The pressure of the column of water is magnificent!
Back to play! We all know children’s development capabilities are incredible in their early years, way beyond anything we can really comprehend. Given the right environment of natural play (timber, sand, water, and rocks) you will see hopping, skipping, jumping climbing, making new friends, and developing so many new skills.
With 3 pumping stations, they can watch and control the water flow through the natural rock pools, pulling the levers to release the water and let it fall. They will be able to climb up to the top of the mound using the ropes, crawl through the tunnel, cross the rope bridge, and go down the slide.
