Pigs and Piglets

We currently have three Kune Kune pigs at Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park. We have some piglets arriving in March 2024 ready for our Easter pig racing activity, come and long and see who wins!

Pigs do not like being muddy or dirty during the winter. In hot summer months they cover themselves in cool mud & water to regulate their body temperature – because pigs cannot sweat! Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park is home to lots of pigs.

Our Farm Park Animals

Farmer Palmer's animals - including our pigs - are traditional farm animals, together with popular pet animals like guinea pigs and rabbits. They are taken care of by our dedicated team in the Animal Barn in line with Defra's Farm Animal Welfare Council's Five Freedom Advice. Pigs do not like being muddy or dirty during the winter.
